STLCC Horticulture Department Rebrand

A rebrand of the St. Louis Community College’s Horticulture Department. I worked closely with the client to maintain their ideal vision, so I focused on representing growth, strength, and locality through the logo. I picked the native oak, a plant that shows great strength, in a sprouting stage. The logotype is a mix of Annisette, a more modern type, with the serif font Kepler to respect the history of the institution.
Earlier variations of possible logomarks/logotypes, leading up to its' final creation.
For more real-world application, I created an editable sign that could be easily changed throughout each semester. This could be used on the campus gardens, to let any passerby know about both the program and the current state of the area due to on-hand learning.
Thank you for viewing!
